Conditions of the contest

Participation in the contest is individual.

For becoming a participant of the contest you need to register till 14th May inclusive.

If you are already registered in other contest of the project (The drawing contest), you just need to confirm your participation in the photo contest in Your Virtual room (the page "Log in the other contests of the project).

For participation in the contest you need to have e-mail.

After filling registration form message will be send to your e-mail for confirming the application. For completion of the registration you should click on the link in the email.

After confirming your application message about registration with your login and password will be send to your e-mail.

Registered participants should send their works until 15th May, 2013 inclusive through Virtual room on the site.

Common requirements

  1. Number of pictures is not limited for one participant.
  2. Submitting works should conform to the theme of contest and reflect an essence of the contest.
  3. It is not allowed to use photos of people which infringe the intellectual property rights and also using property elements of existing logos.
  4. It is not allowed to use pictures which weren’t drawn by you, plagiarism and photos.
  5. Works which are not comply with the requirements of realization of the international Internet-project "Dialog of Cultures", technical requirements to the contest works could be rejected to consider by the organizing Committee.

Requirements to the works

  1. Contest works should be loaded on the site of the project. Also you should complete information about every contest photos: title, place of the shooting and a short comment to your photo (not more than 600 symbols).
  2. Acceptable format of a file for contest work: JPEG (*jpg) in high quality.
  3. Minimum size of a photo is 1600 pixels on the narrow side of the photo.
  4. The file shouldn’t be greater than 5 MB.
  5. It is not allowed to use pictures which weren’t drawn by you, plagiarism and photos.
  6. It is not allowed to apply logos, copyrights and signatures on the photo.
  7. It is allowed to use moderate photo editing for improving the quality of the photo: improving of color rendition, adjusting the level of sharpness and so on.

Works of the participants should not

  • break the law, infringe the honor and dignity, rights and protected by law interest of third party
  • promote religious, racial or ethnic discords
  • contest of scene of violence or cruel treatment of animals
  • be indecency and abusive
  • contain of explicit and hidden advertising
  • infringe rights of author or third party
  • have a pornographic character
  • contain commercial advertising in any form
