Conditions of the contest

Participation in the contest is individual.

For becoming a participant of the contest you need to register till 14^th May inclusive.

If you are already registered in other contest of the project (The drawing contest), you just need to confirm your participation in the photo contest in Your Virtual room (the page "Log in the other contests of the project).

For participation in the contest you need to have e-mail.

After filling registration form message will be send to your e-mail for confirming the application. For completion of the registration you should click on the link in the email.

After confirming your application message about registration with your login and password will be send to your e-mail.

Registered participants should send their works until 15^th May, 2013 inclusive through Virtual room on the site.

Requirements to the works

1. Contest photos should be taken by participant individually (team works are not accepted) and independently.
2. Contest works should be loaded on the site of the project. Also you should complete information about every contest photos: title, place of the shooting and a short comment to your photo (not more than 600 symbols).
3. Acceptable format of a file for contest work: JPEG (*jpg) in high quality.
4. Minimum size of a photo is 1600 pixels on the narrow side of the photo.
5. The file shouldn’t be greater than 5 MB.
6. It is not allowed to use a photo which wasn't taken by you, plagiarism, photomontage of a picture of the fragments, adding of elements which absent on the photo.
7. It is allowed to use moderate photo editing for improving the quality of the photo: "Red eye removal", improving of color rendition, adjusting the level of sharpness and so on.

Works which are not comply with the requirements of realization of the international Internet-project "Dialog of Cultures", technical requirements to the contest works could be rejected to consider by the organizing Committee.
